Front Faceplate

Can anyone tell me where to find a, or how to get a cell phone repaired?

My girlfriend has a verizon LG VX8600, and the front faceplate got scratched up today. I know there are scratch removers out there, but I would really like to get a brand new, factory type faceplate. I have looked everywhere and can only find those silly snap on ones in different colors. I want the original. Please let me know, I appreciate any help.
