How can you make it so it doesn't vibrate when on silent on an Samsung SGH-P510?

My mums friend have a Samsung SGH-P510, and when he put it on silent it vibrates, but he doesn't want it too. Is there anyway that he can make it so it doesn't vibrate?

Somewhere in settings, there should be an option for the vibrate function (under ring alerts or something). There should be an option there to vibrate if silent or not. If there isn't, you could always leave the ringer on and turn it all the way down if you want silence.
