What kind of Bluetooth would work for a Sprint Rumor cell phone?

I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea how Bluetooth headsets work. Is any kind compatible with any kind of phone? Because I have a Sprint Rumor and I'm curious what kind of headset would be best for it.
And... Any recommendations for Bluetooth models?
It doesn't need to do anything fancy like transfer music or get internet access; the only thing I'd use it for would be to talk on my cell phone while driving and such.
Noise-canceling would then be a plus, though.

Everyone has their opinion on which cell phone you should get, but which cellular phone is actually right for YOU?
