Seamless interaction between the tape drive and media is enabled by the high precision cartridge technique. WORM technique is also incorporated in the TDK LTO4 tape. This feature dose not allows alterations, and protects the recorded information. The recording capacity of TDK LTO 4 tape is 800 gigabytes and in the compressed mode, it can hold 1.6TB data.
